Full course description
This course is designed to assist participants in learning about the Foundation to Year 6 Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies (V9.0) and to provide you with a range of classroom resources. This course is based on a series of modules that you can work through at your own pace.
This course includes the following modules:
- Introducing Digital Technologies: We introduce the course aims, structure and requirements for completion and begin exploring the Digital Technologies curriculum.
- Data: Discover how data is important and how it is represented, acquired, analysed and visualised.
- Digital systems: Explore digital systems, including networks, collaboration tools, and privacy and security skills.
- Designing digital solutions: Learn how design thinking assists with designing digital solutions, and unpack computational thinking and visual programming skills.
The course will require around 7 hours to complete. To receive a certificate of completion for this MOOC, you will complete an activity or task at the end of each unit as well as the short pre and post-surveys.
